What worked for me is to set a date. You can eat all you want until that date, then no more. It also helps if you have something else for your mouth to do. Carry around a water bottle and take a swig when you get a craving. If you don't like straight water, they always have those flavor packets you can mix in. Chewing sugar free gum helps, too.
Only allow yourself one piece a day. That worked for me, because I wanted to pass on the ones I just kinda wanted because it was there, and got to eat one I really wanted. Mmm mini snickers...
