I've been doing pretty well this week. At least exercise wise. I have gotten up everyday (except today) to exercise. Monday I did some pilates videos, Tuesday and Wednesday I went to the gym with my friend and put in some elipitcal time, plus on Wednesday I swam a couple of laps. I understand now why people go for early morning swims. It was wonderful. I also have been walking with my roommate twice this week. We threw in a bunch of lunges, too. I'm still sore. I still haven't droped much weight though. I think I regained what I lost the past couple of weeks.
My food choices still have a lot to be desired, but I'm working on it. I need to do better on my snacks. I've been eating candy bars and peanut M&M's. I need some snack ideas that I can keep at work in my drawer so I can just grab them. I like almonds and some granola bars, but they get kind of old. There is also a candy drawer at work I am having trouble avoiding. At least there isn't any chocolate in there.
How is everyone else doing? Did you join curves yet, Brenda? We haven't been posting much lately.

I went in for my first workout yesterday. It was fun. They have it set up so that you go on a series of machines alternated by recovery stations. Each machine works out a different muscle group and by the time you go through the whole thing, you work out every major muscle group in your body. The whole workout is only 30 minutes long and it is less than half a mile from my house, so I could walk there if I want.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been keeping great track of my eating, but I don't think I have been doing that badly. I'll have to start up again. :)
