And then, Arle's parents made waffles for dinner. Which I was very grateful for, don't get me wrong. It meant I didn't have to make dinner. But how are you supposed to eat waffles without eating sugar? And fresh fruit was not an option. January + Alaska is not a great equation for fresh produce. So I ate half a waffle with peanut butter. (Which also has sugar in it, but I decided the protein outweighed it in this case.)
I also decided that Gatorade is o.k. since I had nothing else near me to take advil with and my head was killing me. But I won't drink more than one bottle of Gatorade a day.
So today was o.k. I guess, but feel free to share any non sugar snack ideas (that aren't crackers anyway.)
How about waffles with yogurt? That's what I used to eat on waffles.
ReplyDeleteI really like yogurt on waffles, too. You could always snack on nuts, pickles, jerky, or some select granola bars. You could chew sugar free gum, which some people claim help keep your teeth clean in between meals. Drinking water helps curb my snacking. If you want they have flavor packets you can put in your water bottle that are sugar free. I know the special K have some (I've got one sitting next to me right now). Anyway, those are just a few ideas I had, barring fresh produce, ie. carrot sticks, snap peas, jicama or fruit.
